Research
Puberty Lab shares de-identified data only with approved studies, and only from people who said yes to research. Here is every study that can receive it.
How it works
- Research is off unless you turn it on. Under 18 it needs a parent's yes and your own. You can turn it off any time, and you're left out of every export after that.
- A study needs an ethics committee's approval, and receives only the kinds of data listed below for it.
- Data is de-identified: a code instead of your name, ages in months instead of a birth date, no contact details and nothing you wrote.
- Never shared: your period log, food and sleep diary, test results, doctors' notes, Pia chats, reflections, questionnaires or anything about safety.
- An export needs at least 10 people, so no one can be picked out.
No studies receive data right now.
